Measure and establish the site boundaries and setbacks for the the project site of 2.5 acres (max.) and do townscape appraisal within 1 km radius.
Do site inventory and analysis on all all the relevant aspects of your project site for a chosen site within the precint of Cyberjaya for the IBIC project
Based on the Site Context Analysis, synthesis your your finding by offering few possible solutions on site access and general site planning for the project
RETROSPECTIVE >> view the SITE SYNTHESIS, CONTEXT & PLANNING slides to recap lesson learned in previouse semester (Studio Design IIB & Studio Design IIIA) >> read the Generic Brief on Site & Contextual Studies to grasp on the expectation of work outcomes (MACRO > MICRO studies)
OUTCOMES; the expectation of work outcomes (MACRO > MICRO studies) which may include but not limited to;
> Visual Survey > Townscape Appraisal > Site Inventory > Site Appraisal > Site Analysis > Site Synthesis > Site Context & Planning (limited to access planning & generic layout only) AND other site & context studies as deemed necessary.
NOTE: 1. Site Model (scale 1:500) showing adjacent neigbourhood & access circulation is required. 2. Animated 3D modelling shall be visualized within a minimum of a 2 km radius >> refer generic slides for references.
Be mindful to be thorough and deep in your mission to unearth the potential of your project site. The close distance and familiarity might not necessarily mean you understand your project site readily. Remember, a site analysis is not a mere exercise of stating the obvious facts.
